I am a long time waxer and tried the Epislim after a friend’s recommendation.
I love it. It lets me removes those hairs that sprout up in between waxes on my bikini line and upper lip. Not sure why some have said it doesn’t remove hair. I use it right after I wash and dry my face and you have to hold the skin tight too. The feeling is very much like waxing or using a regular tweezer but way quicker. I think it is the best 20 bucks I’ve spent in a long time.

Useless product. Does not remove any hair. It was advertised as being good for small areas but is a total failure.

The Epi Slim Compact Epilator does not work. I was excited about having a travel sized epilator and I especially liked the idea of having a cordless model. However, this epilator, quite simply, does not remove a single hair; it's been a complete waste of money.

I purchased this product because of the number of good reviews and I was so excited when the package arrived today! Now I'm totally deflated because this product is worthless! I'm on my way to the P.O. to mail it right back. After reading the instructions, I placed the batteries in and set off! Only the unit wouldn't start. So I replaced the batteries and off I went! Uh, no, didn't work again. I had to insert the batteries in the opposite direction of the diagrams printed INSIDE the battery housing. Who would think to do that? I almost thought it just wasn't going to work and flipped the batteries around as a fluke. Then I tested it on the back of my hand. It felt like a wind up toy! But I pressed on and tried it on my upper lip. I felt nothing but the whirring. No prickliness, no pulling, nothing! I dunno if my hair is too fine, but I tried it on the top of my knee as well, and watched as it didn't pick up a single hair, let alone a bunch. I kind of doubt that my hair is the problem. This emjoi FEELS like a toy, so I can't imagine how it removes unwanted hair.

My wife like it and uses it now and then. It does do what it says it will. I will have to ask my wife how she likes it.
