Formerly I used a Sally Hansen microwaveable wax, which I could spread on thickly, and it did the job in one pull, and lasted about 2 weeks. But the microwave is in the kitchen, of course, and we have a lot of windows and are in a fairly public area. Often I’d have to carry the melted wax, strips, mirror and spatula into a closet to do my waxing just so I could be sure nobody would see me. With these Surgi-Wax strips, the wax on the strip is rather thinly applied. Sometimes I have to use 2-3 strips on one area to feel that the area has been satisfactorily waxed. But I can do this in the master bathroom, now, with a lot more privacy, and so I feel the trade-off is well worth it. This too lasts about 2 weeks. I’ll stick with it.

I use it to wax my upper lip. It removes the hair and doesn’t irritate the skin!

I love Surgi wax! I love the strips – they are easy to use and really pull out a lot of hair. They are better than your average wax strips for sure. I’ve used all the grocery store brands (Sally, Nair etc.) and these seem to be the best. If you buy the large sized wax strips you can just cut the strips down to your preferred size as well.

  4. I have very sensitive skin and all other hair removal strips that I have used really sting and leave a rash. Not Surgi! I love the results and the ease in using them. No fuss, no muss and very effective. Only brand I use.

These are the best wax strips I have ever used. The material is softer than the ones at the salon. I’ve tried Parissa wax and although they are okay, they can not compete with Surgi! Surgi takes off the most amount of hair while feeling that your skin is still in tact while you rip off the strip. :)
