The needle type of epilator (or epilation device) introduces a very fine wire into the skin at a point very close to the hair shaft, and into the actual hair follicle. Electrolysis is a process where a medical device is used to generate a certain shortwave radio frequency, causing destruction to the hair growth cycle.
